Editing Pin Names

Symptom: 

Clicking on the refresh button changes a pin name to an address

Background

I created a new pin and the pin name was given as the address of the pin.

Edited the pin name in the "Pin" Panel to the name of the town.

Clicked on another pin in the Route Pin Panel and then clicked back on the pin that I had just edited.

Clicked in the "Refresh" button at the bottom of the Route Pin Panel. The name I had edited changed back to the original address, so that my edit was removed.

Question

1. Is this the intended behavior?
2. If it is then is there any way to stop this change occurring?

1. The name of the app this is regarding (RTP Viewer, RTP, RTP LITE, etc).

2. What platform this is regarding?  MacOS or iOS?

I tried to duplicate your situation and it works fine for me, but maybe you’re doing something slightly differently.

In the attached file, I created two pins, and was able to successfully save the file (no problem there).

I edited the pin name a few times, clicked the Refresh button and nothing changed.

I even recorded my simple test, which is attached.

With the attached RTP file can you tell me what steps you take, what happens that you don’t expect, and what is the expected behavior.
