Iread a number of articles and blog posts discussing how to move Angry Birds save games, but nothing that was particular to Bad Piggies. However, the pattern that emerged was pretty clear. The save game state is just a bunch of files, and if you can simply get them from one device to another you should be fine. There were some indications that maybe with Android 4.0 or later you would need to root your device in order to get at the files, which was a bit worrying.

Thanks to Rovio for making it that easy. And thanks to Android for being a mobile OS with a file system that is visible. Having used Apple iOS devices for quite a few years, I did not realize just how useful it was to have an exposed file system until I started using Android. Back on the old Symbian phones I used to use, there just was not that much to do with a file system, and they were never mountable as file systems to a PC anyway. Now, with high-resolution screens and the ability to watch movies and read PDFs in a way that makes sense, having a file system makes so much more sense.

There is probably some way to extract save games from the older Angry Birds games from my iPods to my Android devices, I need to look into that. It should just end up being the same types of files in the end, I assume.

Offering a simple way to copy progress to a file would spoil the game a bit (users sharing saved games to avoid the effort to get three stars on all levels and similar thresholds). It is also something you cannot really do on an iOS device in a natural way, as there is no exposed file system.

This method just worked for me 10 years on (!) to move from a Galaxy Tab S2 to a Galaxy Tab S8+ each with different Android versions via my Acer Windows 10 laptop. So happy I was able to save my progress to my new device, and I definitely appreciate you making your blog post Jakob. I also needed to take a small detour and hope a global copy-paste with slightly different folder naming conventions between the Android OS versions would work, and it did!

Additionally, sturdy cardboard boxes can be a good addition and can create new places for your piggie to explore but keep an eye out for chewing as cardboard can sometimes be a little tempting for your piggie to chew.

The Wonder Pets journey into a puppet theater to save the Three Little Pigs from the Big Bad Wolf. However, after saving the first two little pigs, and building the brick house, the tables are turned when the wolf decides to eat Ming-Ming, Tuck and Linny!

This episode starts out like normal with the schoolchildren, off-screen, leaving school at the end of the day. They say goodbye to the classroom pets. The classroom is decorated with student artwork and other items that has something to do with the three little pigs. Once the classroom is vacant, the phone with 2 crayons: one blue, one violet and a big bad wolf puppet on a pencil starts to ring. One by one, the classroom pets wordlessly notice the ringing phone. (Linny is in a straw house, Ming-Ming is in a popsicle stick house, and Tuck is in a cardboard brick house) The Wonder Pets get dressed and make their way towards the phone while singing their opening verses. The Wonder Pets answer the phone and find that an animal is in trouble somewhere. Linny explains the situation that three puppet pigs are being chased by a puppet version of the big bad wolf. They all jump into a box filled with fabrics and jump back out, three little pig outfits. Then jump back into the box and emerge in their Wonder Pets capes. Once dressed, they assemble the Flyboat but the mast breaks, so they use a pencil instead. The Wonder Pets fly though the puppet theater and sing they're theme song. They travel to the puppet world and find the first pig building his house out of straw because it matches his hat. The Big Bad Wolf comes and blows the house down lucky the wonder pets recuse him in time. The Pets and Pig meet the 2nd little pig with build her house out of sticks because the match her wooden shoes. The Big Bad Wolf blows down the stick house and the wonder pets save the two pigs just in time!

It is no secret skiers have less than pretty feet. Anybody that has ever squeezed their piggies into the hard and unforgiving shell of a ski boot knows they are not designed for any sort of beautification. Yet, for most of us, an ugly foot is a small price to pay for the pure unadulterated fun of a powder day.

I was loitering in our Ski Shop the other afternoon and was able to observe Dustin, our Ski Shop Manager and boot fitter extraordinaire, helping a guest with this exact problem. It was pretty cool to watch so I thought I'd share it with the rest of you. (click on the thumbnail to view a larger image)

Every single day endless numbers of pigs are transported by truck to the slaughterhouse. This journey happens in all weather conditions including extreme heat and biting cold. While bearing witness in Toronto to the pigs on the way to slaughter many activists have witnessed pigs with frostbite and shaking in winter and panting from heat stroke in summer. Many pigs die of heat exhaustion before even reaching the destinations. The transport trucks cram as many terrified pigs as possible inside and they have no choice but to stand up in their own excrement and vomit. The pigs are not given any food or water and often these trips along the highway are hundreds of miles from farm to slaughterhouse. Pigs may get their first sliver of sunshine through the cracks of the metal truck after spending their entire lives in artificially illuminated factory farms. While in transport, the pigs inhale ammonia fumes and diesel exhaust while trying to breath fresh air through the slats. Furthermore, the transport trucks of terror have been known to flip over and pigs are thrown all over the road to die. This has happened in Canada, the United States, Argentina, Spain, Thailand, the United Kingdom and around the world. There was a brutal accident near Toronto in 2016 involving 180 pigs. The pigs that survived the crash were then marched to the nearby slaughterhouse on foot to Fearmans Pork Inc. Animal activists looked on in horror and begged the slaughterhouse workers to release some of the pigs to a sanctuary that had offered to take in the survivors. Not a single pig was allowed to walk free.

There is no humane way to kill a pig that wants to live. Once at the slaughterhouse the pigs are gassed to death, electrocuted or dumped into scalding hot water while still alive. It is impossible for their death to be painless as the sheer number of pigs killed hourly is staggering and over 1000. An undercover investigation video from Mercy For Animals reveals pigs being tortured before their untimely death. Various forms of torture at the slaughterhouse include pigs being roughly grabbed by their ears, cutting off their tails, and inserting sharp meal spikes into their flesh. Pigs witness how their peers are being tortured and killed right before their eyes and they know they will be next. People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals published an article exposing the violations that happen at processing plants.
