My TV is showing: 192.168.1.48
Computer, ROKU: 192.168.15:8060
Computer, Media: 192.168.1.4

How can I get me TV to get the connection? In simple steps where do I
change what?

I'm guessing the Roku is actually 192.168.1.5:8060 (typos will kill us
all!)

What "connection" is this that you want the TV to get? If what you
want is to view the roConnect pages, then you need to be running a Web
browser and go to http://192.168.1.4/roku (making the assumption here
that "Computer, Media" means the computer where your roConnect server
is running). If the TV doesn't have a Web browser, that will be a show-
stopper.

I had the 'Movies' with the popcorn already on my HDTV screen via
ROKU. Somehow it got lost with all I've been doing.
I can access the Wam server and it indexes fine via the computer. I'm
just showing different IP addresses. There HAS to be a place to type
in the one so that I can see it via the ROKU on the TV.

I just need to get the correct address on the computer/server and the
screen.

Unless I got handed a bunch of hoowie and this program won't work on a
standard HDTV! That's pretty poor advertising of the roConnect
product, if that's the case.

I'm going to try and make this easy....

When I put the roConnect on my server it showed the 'Movies' and
popcorn image. But, I couldn't get the thing to index.
After some suggestions... I ended up reseting the router and ended up
with a new IP address.
Now... I have everything running on my computer/server but the
roConnect channel says I have the wrong IP...

The 'channel' shows the: 192.168.1.48 but that's not what the
roConnect program/server is showing me.

When looking at the roConnect http://localhost/roku/index.php there
are two 'buttons' on the top.
When clicking on the ROKU it shows 192.168.15:8060
When clicking on the MEDIA/Config it shows: 192.168.1.4

There SHOULD be a way to type in OR click on something to get the
correct one between the device and the server.

IF the TV needs its own Web Browser it would have been great if I'd
know that before spending over 20 hours on this program!

JUST VENTING!

Try removing the Roku channel and re-adding it.

I've done that several times. It keeps coming up with the original IP
address. It must be stored somewhere and no way to reset it.
So far I couldn't be more disappointed with a product and service.

It sounds like you're not using static IP addresses for computers and
devices on your network. When you rebooted your router it might have
assigned new network addresses for both your computer and the Roku.

I suggest before you do anything more, you make those local network
addresses static. You should be able to do that through your router
admin. Check the documentation for your router on how to do that. If
you don't do this you are going to have problems every time you
restart your router. Do this first! Unless you do this your router may
assign new IP addresses to either you roConnect computer or your Roku
or both and you'll just have to start all over again.

To eliminate variables I suggest you start completely from scratch
with the install. Remove the channel, remove the software and start
over. Take your time and follow the instructions to the letter (even
suggested directories) and use only the test movie. Make sure auto
IMDb is off.

Index the test movie and try it. If it works, only then move on. Add
another movie and test. If that doesn't work then there's probably
something wrong with that movie file. Add each movie one at a time and
test.

Personally I have enabled port forwarding for the roConnect computer.
I'm not sure exactly how roConnect works, but since all this is on a
local area network (except IMDb) you probably don't have to do this.

P.S. Unless you have a network enabled TV (rare - but available), your
"TV" does not have an IP address. I am using a regular old analog CRT
TV. You don't need a TV with a web browser.

The TV needs a Web browser *IF* you are trying to see the roConnect
page without the Roku player.

There is an option to set a static IP in the Roku setup menu (using
the Roku remote, not through RoConnect). I did that shortly after I
got my Roku player to avoid issues I was having with Netflix at the
time. The ideal solution for you is to set it both on the Roku itself
and in your router's hosts lookup settings. Since roConnect thinks
it's at 192.168.1.15 (best guess based on what you typed), I would
use
that one, and after making sure the static IP is set at the Roku,
disconnect power for 5 minutes, then power it back up.

I am saying "best guess" because an IP address *must* have four
numbers and three dots; anything after the colon is a port number.
Thus, 192.168.15:8060 is not an IP address at all.
