It seems roconnect can't browse to a movie folder on an external
drive. Is this correct? I don't have room to store movies on my
computer's internal hard drive. Is there any other solution?

Thanks.

Yes, I've done that many times.  I enter the new path to the file on the external hard drive.  When I hit save, I get an error message saying the the file isn't valid.

Go to the configuration and change the path to your external drive and save!

I'm connecting to a NAS volume that is mounted as an external drive. I couldn't browse there but I could enter the path manually. In fact, I can't browse anywhere (the button does nothing).

Has this situation been addressed? I am getting the same error message. I have way too many movies to house on an internal at this time.

Thank you in advance.

-To connect to an external HD, drag the hard drive into the directory window on your RoConnect configuration page, this should give you the exact URL for the external drive.
-Copy the URL which you will see in your browser.
-Paste into the Folder directory window..
-Click Open Folder.
-Then Save your settings,

 should work fine.

This must be the PC method.  Is there one for the Mac?
