SA Index File Size Genome Creation

Hello

I finished creating the genome and wish to make sure that the SA and SAindex are the correct file sizes


The SA is 23,003 MiB
and SAindex is 1,493 MiB

Is this a correct size?

Hi Anthony,

the sizes seem about right. The size of the SAindex is always the same (unless you change --genomeSAindexNbases), and the size of SA depends on the number of A/C/G/T in the genome+sjdb, so it may vary slightly depending on your particular .fasta and .gtf files.
