Warning after (successful) genome index building

Hello,

I have a question pls? I get this warning message (STAR 2.7.8a)

!!!!! WARNING: Could not move Log.out file from ./Log.out into /path/to/dir/Log.out. Will keep ./Log.out

but it's also said it's finished successfully

Is it fine to proceed with the files?

Hi Mazlina,

this warning means the Log.out file could not be moved to the genome directory.

What was your command line for STAR?

The genome index files should be OK.
