Hey you wankers back in the US, back in the US, back in the USA! Just checking in from the Michael Collins pub near Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. The Guinness, Murphy’s, and Jameson be flowing here. Missed the Spanish MotoGP, but some local named Marquez (?) took the podium. Andrea & I were too far away, just bad timing. Now there’s a club in Barcelona vying for a championship in soccer. Haha, they call it “football”, and not much happens but kicking a spherical rubber ball everywhere until it lands in a gigantic net. Shouldn’t be too hard, right? But it’s a popular sport anyway.

Oh, and we persevered the multi-nacional electrical power grid failure, with typical Americano bravado.

Adios, for now!

Dave,

Denise and I rode to Austin for the MotoGP and have the opportune to watch the other Marquez through his bike down the track the first this year.

Looks like you're having a good time!

I did hear about the "power grid failure" on a MotoGP pod cast this morning.Did your hotel charge you full price for stale sandwiches?

Football and/or soccer is very popular here in Spain.Have fun, don't get into any trouble and tell us all about your adventures, that is if you can get through US Customs!!??

Somehow, we were thirsty after a long bus ride, then ended up in Dunne’s, and McCarthy’s, Irish Bars.
How does this happen? Because Guinness, Murphy’s, and Jameson.
And tradition… We encounter an Irish establishment, and we’re “obligated” to make new friendships. Cheers!
