Monthly meeting agenda for January 2022

Hi, Rats.  As promised, here is the text of my agenda for tonight's meeting:

ROCKY MOUNTAIN RIDERS ASSOCIATION OF TRIUMPH (RMRAT)

MONTHLY MEETING AGENDA

 

JANUARY 2022

 

 

1. Introduction – introduce myself as new RAT Pack leader

 

2. Change in meeting time/place to 9:00 AM, 1^st Saturday of the month at Foothills Triumph/BMW in Lakewood (Colfax and Wadsworth.) To start Saturday 02/05/22.  Breakfast will be provided by Foothills (breakfast burritos)  Eventually the idea will be a monthly meeting followed by a class, demonstration, presentation or ride. 

 

3. “Social Hour” first Tuesdays to continue based on member interest and participation.  2/1/22 at RINO beer garden, 7:00 PM. 

 

4. Calendar for 2022:  Goal will be to have it done NLT March 30, 2022.  Tentative dates for TINTR will be 07/15/22- 07/17/22.

 

5. Googlegroup list will be maintained, however most activity will be on Facebook.  Please read group rules, which have been updated.  If you have suggestions for additions or changes, please let me know.  I am contemplating changing the status from “public” to “private” – Feedback?  Other “rule” ideas:  Sales/spam? 

 

6. My goals as group leader will be: 

 

• Increase riding participation
• Monthly meetings that will feature classes or presentations
• Maintain active facebook page
• Recruit through our partnership with Foothills
• Participate in motorcycle-related events in Colorado when possible
• Encourage and support new riders
• Have fun riding in the greatest place in the world to ride a motorcycle!

 

UPCOMING EVENTS: 

 

1. CO Motorcycle expo, Coliseum, Jan 29-30
2. Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride – 05/22/22:  Need volunteers to participate?
3. ???  Looking for input on other motorcycle events.
