Hi all,

Having a few issues setting up the rapidminder LOD extension.

There seems to be no method to specify the username and password for the connection. It does not appear to accept embedding the username and password in the URL [ie https://user:pass...@myserver.com/sparql/].

Is this something that is not supported, it seems like and odd thing to leave out. The manual makes no mention of passwords, so I get the feeling that i may be out of luck.

Cheers

Hi,

The extension doesn't support embedding additional parameters in the URL. However, we might include such a feature in the next release of the extension.

Cheers,

I'd be pretty chuffed to see an authentication feature.

A thought:
Preferably not done via the URL though, as it means embedding passwords in the rapid-miner process file. This would make it impossible to share/opensource the rapid minder file.

If it was in the dialog where you set up the endpoint, then my password should remain on my machine.
