I'm working through example 1 with Ubuntu 12.04. The output of my uname -a command is:

Linux bean 3.2.0-33-generic #52-Ubuntu SMP Thu Oct 18 16:29:15 UTC 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

When I enter the command "rmcplot rmcsf6_190k", I receive this output:

rmcplot: error while loading shared libraries: libg2c.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

It appears that the libg2c.so.0 library was supported for g77, but isn't available now that gfortran is used. I can't find the library or a compatibility fix.
My guess is the problem will be addressed with version 6.5 for linux, so I will probably just run Windows for now, unless anyone has a better idea or a known solution.

Thanks,

Benjamin

Hi Benjamin,

I have version 6.5 together with a new tutorial ready for Linux, so I will try to post it in the next week or so.

Until then please use the windows version, I'm not sure if that is the latest version of the tutorial, so I will check and post a new one if not.

I'm afraid for the Mac version I am having trouble complaining for the new operating system so that version will be delayed.

If all goes well we should have a new email list and access system (using your email list address and a password) setup in the next month. I'm afraid this has been made necessary due to the increasing number of hacks to the wiki.

Best wishes,
Matt
