Very New to RMCProfile and having some issues (ex_1)

Hi Everyone,

I am working my way through ex_1 and I have almost no experience working in a command prompt. When I try to perform the first command of

rmcprofile rmcfs6_190k  the response I get is that rmcrprofile is not a recognized internal of external command, operable program, or batch file.

Can anyone help with this? Am I missing a command in front of rmcprofile or some quotations or something?

Hi Tom,

1) Did you obtain the command prompt window by double clicking the RMCProfile_setup.bat file? If so this should have set the path correctly.

2) If that all worked the problem could be where you have put the unzipped folder. For simplicity it is best if you uncompress the file and then copy every thing to C: drive. This would create a folder c:\rmcprofile_package or similar.

If this all seems fine but doesn't help, please let me know which version of windows you are using and the result of typing echo %PATH% in the command prompt window.
