I am writing to remember you about the EFSM Council Meeting from Strasbourg, May 16, 2015, 14:00-17:00.
Unfortunately the following delegates did not responded until now either to confirm or infirm their meeting attendance:
   -German Speaking Group
   -Poland
   -Portugal
   -Slovenia
   -Spain
Because some of the council members suggested a small change in the previous form of the Bylaws I sent you previously, I am sending you as attached document the Bylaws in which we have introduced this proposal which is highlighted in green (Chapter 9.5 of the Bylaws).
Please read all the Bylaws before our meeting in Strasbourg, because there we have to vote the new proposed amendments. 
Please confirm the receipt of this e-mail.
I am looking forward to hearing from you soon and to seeing you in Strasbourg.

Dear Friends,

1.    As it was decided in Barcelona and as we already informed you in the previous correspondence, on May 16th, 2015 between 14:00-17:00 hours we have to meet in Strasbourg for the Delegates' General Assembly. It will take place during the 37th Meeting of the French Society for Microsurgery (GAM) at:

               IRCAD
               Hôpitaux Universitaires
               1, Place de l'Hopital
               67091 Strasbourg, Cedex

Until now, the following Societies confirmed their presence:
         France
         Greece
         Italy
         Poland
         Romania
         Turkey
We want to ask to all Societies which did not confirmed yet their attendance, to do all the efforts to send their delegate or someone replacing him/her to the meeting, because will be discussed very important matters. Please let us know very urgent (not later than April 20th) the person which will attend the meeting.

Please find attached the Agenda of the Delegates' General Assembly in Strasbourg. All those will see their name on the Agenda are requested to take action and prepare a short Report.

2.    Despite our numerous e-mails, the feed-back with some Societies was completely absent: Finland, Sweden, Slovenia, Portugal. 

3.    We want to congratulate and thank to the Societies which payed their fees for 2014 to the EFSM:
          Denmark
          German Speaking Group
          Italy
          Poland
          Romania
          Turkey
All other Societies will have to pay until next March the fee for both 2014 and 2015.

4.    During the WSRM Congress in India we had a Meeting of the EFSM Executive Committee in which there were discussed some proposals regarding few changes in the Bylaws and some possibilities to join the EFSM educational activities with the European Master in Microsurgery. 
It was also discussed the increase of the number of the standing committees to seven. One of these-the Research Committee-will replace the EMTRA. EMTRA will remain as an Associate Member of the EFSM, which will not pay fees and will have not voting rights.
You can find as attached document the Bylaws including these changes highlighted in yellow. Please be so kind and review this new form of the Bylaws and let us know if you have some more suggestions. We will discuss it in the Delegates' General Assembly in Strasbourg and will submit the definitive form to vote. 

5.    Please send us a table with the membership of your Society.

6.    Please print the attached documents and take with you in Strasbourg.
