Seeking Volunteers for Late Winter 2025 Programs
RM SSL Opportunities
Dear Sports Plus Volunteers,
Would you like to earn SSL hours and have fun while doing so? We are so grateful for you and we need your help! Here is a list of programs available. Please respond quickly, as these slots fill up quickly. We are looking for energetic, motivated volunteers that want to contribute. You will have an active role in these programs
Late Winter 2025 JCC Swim Program, Rockville, Md. - 3/1, 3/8, 3/15, 3/22, 3/29 Hours are 12:45pm-4:15pm - volunteers must be competitive swimmers.
Late Winter 2025 Lakewood CC Swim Program, Rockville, Md - 3/1, 3/8, 3/15, 3/22, 3/29 - Hours are 4:45pm-6:45pm - volunteers must be competitive swimmers.
March 2025 Deli Takeover Night Social, The Bean Bag, Rockville, Md. - 3/14 - Hours are 6-9pm
Please let Natalie Liniak - in...@playsportsplus.org) - know as soon as possible if you are interested, including how often you would like to volunteer. Also let us know if you want to volunteer with a friend, so we can schedule you together. Please only sign up for days you know you can commit to. You do not have to volunteer each week, but we do ask that you help for the full time frame listed. Volunteers must be 14 years or older unless you have a direct connection to special needs.

Volunteers are responsible for obtaining and keeping track of when their form is due at their school. Please don’t wait until the last minute! We try to return forms within 24-48 hours however, there are times when we are out of town and it may take a few days.
Volunteers keep track of their hours for the semester.
The volunteer will fill out the form before having it signed.
If you need the directors to eventually fill out a form that rates your performance in some way (ex: IB program, reference for an award), please provide those details (a copy of the form would be helpful) to one of the directors when you begin volunteering. With the large number of volunteers we have for our programs, it is not always easy for the directors to remember a past volunteer's performance in each of the categories that may be asked to rate.
