rLog message publication time granularity

Hello! This question is to rLog developers.
As I understand, rLog messages have 1 second publication time
granularity limited by time_t. Is there any future plans about it? How
about to increasing publication time granularity in future by using
other time structures like struct timeval (gettimeofday() fnction)?
