Hi Scotty,
Good luck on your marathons. Your cars will be buried for sure but the snow should melt before your return.
Thanks for letting us know.

Subject: Blizzard Preparedness Notice – Important Information for Residents

Attention Unit Owners and Residents,

A significant winter storm/blizzard is expected to impact our area. Please take time now to prepare and use extra caution during this event.

Be Prepared

  • Ensure you have essential supplies available, including food, water, medications, batteries, and flashlights.

  • Charge cell phones and electronic devices in advance.

  • Keep extra blankets available in case of power outages.

  • If possible, please stay home and avoid unnecessary travel during the storm.

Power Outages

Residents should be prepared for possible power outages.
Download the free Massachusetts Alerts app for weather warnings & other emergency alerts: http://www.mass.gov/mema/mobileapp

If you lose electricity in your unit, you need to contact the electric company directly to report the power outage (not NPM).

For power outages or downed wires, etc.:
Note that trees entangled in power lines must be cleared by the electric company.

Also consider:

  • Using flashlights instead of candles whenever possible.

  • Keeping refrigerator and freezer doors closed to preserve food.

  • Unplugging sensitive electronics to prevent damage when power is restored.

Who to Call

  • Life-threatening emergency: Call 911

  • Power outages: Contact your electric utility provider

  • Building emergency (active leaks/pipe breaks, sewer back-up, safety hazards): Call Northborough Property Management 508-393-2155

  • Snow Plowing issues: Please EMAIL your property manager and include a photo of the area of concern

  • Ice Dams: Please EMAIL your property manager

    • Your Name
    • Your Property Name  (name of your Association)
    • Building / Unit # (address)
    • Phone #
    • Location of the leak / Description of the Issue  (what room, floor, is there a window nearby, etc.)
    • Photo of the area of the leak
    • Please let us know whether this is a new issue or related to a previously known ice dam. With additional snow accumulation on the roof, it is expected that areas affected by prior ice dams may experience leaking again.
  • Non-emergency issues / questions: Please email your Property Manager after the storm has passed and clean-up operations have concluded
Please help keep phone lines available for true emergencies only. Do not page NPM for non-emergency issues such as account questions, general storm updates, snow removal timing, or minor maintenance concerns. Keeping lines clear ensures we can assist those who truly need immediate help.

Snow Removal and Clean-Up

Snow removal operations will begin as conditions allow. However:

  • This storm is expected to continue well into Monday.

  • Final clean-up will likely occur on Tuesday.

  • Clean-up times may run behind due to storm conditions and snow volume.

Please remember that snow removal vendors will be working long hours throughout the storm to keep the property as safe and accessible as possible. We appreciate your patience and cooperation while crews work to clear the snow.

With the upcoming storm expected to bring significant snowfall, high winds, and snow drifting, it is essential that at the completion of the storm, all vehicles be completely cleared of snow and ice before the plow arrives.

Residents must also be prepared to move their vehicles promptly when requested so that plowing and snow removal can be completed safely and effectively.

Due to the anticipated severity of the storm conditions, 100% cooperation is required. Proper snow removal depends on full participation, and any vehicles not cleared or moved may delay plowing for everyone.

Thank you for your cooperation in helping keep the property safe and accessible.

Landlords - you are responsible for sharing this notice with your tenants.

Please stay safe and warm & stay home if you can.
