To Management and the Board:

I am writing to formally document that I have authorized the commercial unit (The Coffee Loft) and its staff to utilize my deeded (extra) parking space, B8, effective immediately. I am taking this proactive step to rectify a recurring boundary issue I’ve had/am having with Jo and Kevin Daly and ensure my deeded property remains accessible.

As shown in the attached photographs from February 24, 2026:

  • Coordinated Encroachment: The vehicles in B9 and B10 appear to be parked in a coordinated manner to maximize their own "buffer" space. This has resulted in the vehicle in B9 encroaching significantly over the demarcated line into B8, effectively commandeering my deeded property as their own personal buffer zone. These residents are well aware of the property boundary, as I formally reminded them of the property lines and asked them to stop their encroachment several years ago; however, the issue has persisted.

  • Maintenance Interference: While spaces B9 and B10 were cleared of snow, B8 remains buried. The physical evidence suggests the residents moved their vehicles back into their spots before the plowing of the row was complete, specifically to block the contractor from clearing my space.

I consider the matter resolved at this point, and therefore I am not requesting any formal action or intervention from the Board or Management. I have arranged to have an active vehicle consistently in the spot to re-establish property boundaries, and I’ve informed the neighbors in B7 (Kay and Arthur) so they are aware that the space is being used with my permission. I’ve also fully explained the rationale to Jackie (The Coffee Loft). I believe this arrangement will naturally re-settle the boundaries without the need for any confrontation.

I am informing the Board and Management of this arrangement specifically to preempt any confusion or unnecessary conflict, as the residents in B9/B10 have a history of making baseless complaints. I request this notice and the photos be placed in the permanent file for Unit 209 as documentation of their intentional interference with my deeded property rights.

Sincerely,

Barbara Pelletier

Hi Barbara,

Thank you for the email and photos. I know you included the Board on this thread, but I will still print out and include this thread in the management report.
