Status

Hi All,

Shamim and I spoke with Teresa, Robert, and Dad this evening.  

Dad sounded very good, his voice strong and clear.  We kept the conversation short as he still does not seem to like telephone chat.  Both Dad and Teresa mentioned that his shortness of breath is a lot better.  He is using a walker unaided to troll the halls in his convalesce  home, something that would have been unthinkable last week.  He confirmed that he will be going back to his apartment for a visit with the staff next week, and he thinks he will be moving back permanently soon.  

Also, he is planning on visiting his cardiologist on Wednesday.

that is wonderful...I find it great that he is making such progress...I must admit when I was with him I saw one giant step forward on Sunday and then a couple of steps back...I hope he keeps it up...And in complete honesty, I never saw him use his walker, only wheel chair...so if he is now trolling, he must be gaining strength rapidly...I wonder how often he stops by the nurse's station to offer advice?  Has anyone informed Louise (his friend) of his progress?

PPS  if someone goes to his apartment I do believe his fake eggs are out of date..It might be smart to buy new real eggs too..seeing as he has been gone over a month

I am looking at my summer school schedule and I think I can be down from June 30 to July 5...How does this work for everyone???  Pleas send feedback as summer school subs are hard to come by..
