Dad seems to be having another good day.  He has been completely lucid both today and yesterday, and I have not seen any real confusion since I have been down here.

I must say this morning's caretaker, Kristine, was the worst so far.  She certainly did what was asked but not a heck of a lot more.  Dad was polite with her, but mentioned that he was not impressed once she left.

We just got back from a walk.  Today, Dad wanted to be outside.  So we walked all the way to the swimming pool and back.  This is approximately the same distance he will need to cover to get to the dining room.  I'm happy to report that after the walk he does not seem to be out of breath.

One other note.  At dinner last night I asked Dad if he had been drinking at all.  He said he has not had a drop.  This is not due to any medical order, but simply because he does not feel like it.

More later,
Tony

I did not meet Kristine.  Perhaps this is her first day.

While I was there, Barrett, Melonie, Rosa, and Cristiana were his caregivers.  As I mentioned, all seemed more than adequate to me.

BTW:  Barrett was the first one and called Dad "Mr. Nelson" several times on his first visit.  While Dad was in the bathroom, I mentioned to Barrett that "Dr." would be more appropriate.  Then, Barrett only used Dr. or Sir, and every other caregiver followed suit.  So, apparently, he passed the message on.
