Hi Family -

If you have a few minutes today, or any day in the next two weeks - I was hoping that you could take a few moments to go to this website:

And vote for my story - titled "Killing her Softly" (the fourth entry down).

Your votes will help me win a $500 dollar scholarship, and you can vote every day until July 15th. The finalists are determined by number of online votes. From there it is judged by "professionals." For those of you in the same household - you can only vote once from the same wireless network - so if at work or on your 3G network - that will be your best bet.

It is not my best work by any means - we all know I majored in Lit Crit and not Creative Writing (fiction has never been my strong suit) for a reason.

Also - may I express this disclaimer: All characters appearing in this work are fictitious. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental.
