Dear Grandpa,

At 6:30 this morning, I looked out the window. There was no chance of sunshine, I thought.
The garbage trucks came soon after that. I dozed off. An hour later, as I write this email, the
sky is clear, the boardwalk is visible, and the clouds are no where to be seen. Mornings like this
remind me of the Nelson family retreats at Pasa Taj for Shakepere Santa Cruz. And instantly, I
think of the time when the nieces ate up someone else's brownies, washing of the feet by the door
in two different buckets when the girls came home with muddy feet--they thought that was aunt
Shamim showing all the nurturing (all along I was trying to protect the white carpets). How much I wish everyone was here...now!!!

I am eager to get an update about your last couple of days. Tony has been busy there so we have not spoken since Sunday afternoon. In the meantime, I send my utmost regards and love.

Yours,
Shamim
