Johan,

I don't know if it is a practice with other chapter for the hares to open beers but in the few year with RLC that I have been, it definitely does not look like the culture here. Once you have opened the tap, even you you only have had a couple, there is no more control.

You have been very generous with the drinks provided at your house for which it is much appreciated.

Thankfully, incident like these only happen rarely.

On on!

I am the sod who asked Arul for a beer for Leslie and myself as "hares" when my own caned  beers ran out. We only had 1 beer each when the first frop returned. Correct me if I'm wrong but it is the practice with all chapters that the hares can start on the beer when they come out. I know we came out before 6, which is not the norm and that is why I brought my own caned beers. For your info Rooster did not have a beer. Only Leslie and myself. 1 each. I did not claim foc for Rooster as I wrote my Club number down. The other cohare , Passcuran only drank my own 100 plus and left early as he was not well. He did not put his name down as a guest.

I believe it had already been agreed that Mismanagement should always have
standby beer at run sites .

In addition to all the drinks at my house, I had freeflow of bottled beer. The last time that happened in my house, GM Arthur gave me a case of Fosters a few weeks later, and I reluctantly accepted because he insisted.

On on.

Dear Editor,

My report said
"It threatened to rain but the downpour did not materialise. With such
dry weather, hashers were very thirsty with the barrel empty before
the charges could be fully laid. Somehow, Mismanagement must come out
with a contingency plan to bring along spare crates of beer wherever
we have guests (we had 6 today). For a Circle to splutter out due to
lack of beer is a no-no. "

Telll me which part is wrong? A guest is a guest whether paying or
not. Are you going to suspend me for three months and take away my
passport?

I stand by my report and urge Mismanagement to have the contingency
plan. It's not rocket science to have a case stashed away in reserve
in someone's car, to be brought out when needed. Surely this did not
merit your erroneous charge of misreporting.
