Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to share the latest Call for Contributions for DAI 2026, the 8th International Conference on Distributed Artificial Intelligence, to be held at City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, China, from November 29 to December 2, 2026.

The theme of DAI 2026 is “Agentic AI Goes Live: Science, Systems, and Societies.” Submissions are now open through OpenReview, and the requirements for the experimental AI Paper Track have now been released in detail.

DAI 2026 welcomes contributions across four paper tracks:

  • Research Track: original research on distributed AI, autonomous agents, multi-agent systems, and agentic AI. Submissions are up to 8 pages, double-blind review. Deadline: August 3, 2026.
  • Industry Track: deployed systems, real-world case studies, tools, benchmarks, artifacts, and lessons from production or applied distributed/agentic AI. Submissions are up to 6 pages, single-blind review. Deadline: August 3, 2026.
  • AI Paper Track: an experimental venue for AI-led or human-AI collaborative research, including AI agents as substantive contributors to the scientific process. Submissions are up to 8 pages and must include an ARM Bundle with trace, execution, skill, and knowledge-graph evidence, together with an AI Research Autonomy Disclosure. Deadline: August 10, 2026.
  • Sister Conference Track: non-archival presentations of relevant work already accepted at AAMAS, AAAI, IJCAI, EC, KDD, ICLR, ICML, NeurIPS, and related venues. This track opens on July 1, 2026 and will run on a rolling basis until capacity is reached.

DAI 2026 also invites workshop and tutorial proposals. We welcome focused workshops, hands-on tutorials, survey-style tutorials, challenge sessions, system forums, and cross-disciplinary meetings on topics relevant to distributed AI, multi-agent systems, and agentic AI. Workshop and tutorial proposals are due by July 30, 2026, 23:59 AoE.
