One postdoc position (3 years) and multiple PhD positions (4 years) are available starting early 2026 or earlier in multi-agent reinforcement learning, and applications to space systems. The expected work is on the development of fundamental MARL and deployable MARL for applications in, e..g, space systems.

Position description:
Required
- MS degree (for PhD) or PhD degree (for Postdoc) in related disciplines,
- Strong background in reinforcement learning or multi-agent reinforcement learning,
- Strong publication record, such as CORE rank A*/A,
- Excellent writing, teamwork, and communication skills.

Benefit:
The PhD position will be fully funded during the period of study. The annual salary for the Postdoc position is negotiable based on the applicant’s past experience. Adelaide University is a member of Australia's Group of Eight (Go8) universities and a world top 100 university (QS 82 in 2026).
