Fully Funded PhD Position in Reinforcement Learning & AI Agents — Adelaide University, Australia

I am seeking a highly motivated PhD candidate to join my research group at the University of Adelaide, a Go8 and global top-100 university.

The position focuses on developing next-generation AI agent systems, including multi-agent cooperation and reinforcement learning approaches that enable LLM-based models to learn, reason, act, and reflect.

Eligibility

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field
• A strong background in AI agent post-training or inference, with a focus on more efficient and effective reasoning and execution performance
• Publications in top-tier AI conferences or journals are preferred
• This position is open only to citizens of India, Japan, Korea, European Union, and Australia
