Dear colleagues,

See below the details for our call for proposals for CoLLAs 2025. Deadline: April 30th, 2025 AOE.

==============
CoLLAs 2025 - Call For Tutorials

We welcome proposals for tutorials on any topic of relevance to the conference, including but not limited to: theory for continual learning, continual learning paradigms, challenges with non-stationary learning, continual reinforcement learning, continual learning in LLMs, knowledge transfer, non-stationary optimization, streaming/on-device/real-time learning, open-ended learning, neuroscience-inspired continual learning, applications of continual learning, or datasets and benchmarks. We encourage the submission of tutorial proposals on any topic provided the tutorial is of interest to part of the CoLLAs audience.

We anticipate hosting two to four tutorials. Each tutorial will be 2 hours long and will be presented by one or two presenters. Tutorial proposals should answer the following questions:

  • Title
  • Brief description and outline: What will the tutorial be about? Please provide an outline of what you plan to cover, including references and details on how much time you will spend on each topic. We encourage the presenters to demonstrate coverage and representativeness of the chosen area of research, not to focus solely on their own results or tools.
  • Goals: What objectives does the tutorial serve? Why is it important to include it as a part of CoLLAs 2025?
  • Target audience: Who is your target audience? How many participants do you expect to see? What kind of background do you expect them to have?
  • Please include the names and email addresses of the presenters, along with brief bios and a description of each presenter’s expertise in the tutorial area. We suggest that at most two presenters give each tutorial. If there is more than one presenter, please describe how time will be split.
  • If available, please include samples of your past talk (or other relevant) slides or links to video recordings on the topic.

Tutorial proposals should be submitted to tuto...@lifelong-ml.cc by April 30, 2025, 11:59 PM AOE. We will also consider hosting invited tutorials and encourage participants to submit their suggestions of topics or presenters to tuto...@lifelong-ml.cc.

Acceptance and rejection decisions will be announced on May 12, 2025, AOE.
