Master's program in Neurorobotics at Chemnitz University of Technology

I would like to draw your attention to our recently revised Master's program in Neurorobotics at Chemnitz University of Technology (Germany). The program is hosted within the Department of Computer Science and integrates robotics with fields such as neural networks, computational neuroscience and reinforcement learning. It is open to computer scientists, but also to students with a bachelor's degree in related disciplines, such as physics, engineering and psychology with sufficient background in computer science.

The official language is German, but an English speaking track is possible as most courses are taught in English. Language requirements are English Level B2 and German Level B2.

Inquiry about Neurorobotics Master's Program - Sponsorship Opportunities  

Dear Professor Hamker,

I hope you are doing well. I recently came across your announcement about the master's program in Neurorobotics at Chemnitz University of Technology on the RL mailing list, and I am very interested in this program.

I am writing to inquire about potential sponsorship opportunities or financial support available for international students pursuing this Master's degree. Specifically, I would like to know:

1. Are there any sponsored positions (research assistantships, teaching assistantships, or fellowships) available within the program?
2. Does the university or department offer any scholarships or funding opportunities for qualified international students?
3. Are there possibilities for students to work as research assistants in ongoing projects while completing their studies?

My background includes a Bachelor's degree from Limkokwing University and I am currently in my final year of a Master's degree in Software Engineering at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC). My research focus has been on deep learning-based network intrusion detection for IoT using CNN and Transformer models, as well as reinforcement learning for intelligent environments with an integrated framework for safety, sensing, and decision making.
