We are excited to announce an open faculty position in Robotics, Computer Vision and Graphics at the Department of Computing Science, University of Alberta.
The successful candidates are expected to have demonstrated strong research potential, evidenced by publications, in top venues (conferences or journals) within robotics, vision and/or graphics. Strong potential for productive interactions with other researchers in the department and in other disciplines at the University of Alberta, including roboticists in the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Medicine, will be considered an asset.
Many research projects at UofA are collaborative, and there are collaboration opportunities with CS, Engineering, and other faculties, as well as the Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute (Amii), which consists of more than 35 artificial intelligence and machine learning researchers at UofA and CCAI Chairs at postsecondary institutions across Western Canada.
