Postdoc Opportunity: Discovering Optimal Heuristics for Moral Decision-Making by Solving Metalevel MDPs, UCLA, Los Angeles

Join the Rational Altruism Lab (PI: Falk Lieder) to extend resource-rational analysis and rational metareasoning to moral decision-making. We are collaborating with the Wise Judgment Consortium to explain cross-cultural differences in how people around the world navigate social dilemmas.

Position: 2-year Postdoctoral Scholar (Postdoc-Employee), fully-funded, research only (no teaching)

Required skills: (approximate) dynamic programming / RL, computational modeling
