“RK University establishes Shamjibhai Harjibhai Talavia Memorial Centre for
Research in Human Nature and Shri Khodidasbhai Shamjibhai Patel Centre for
Gujarati Entrepreneurship under Faculty of Management at RK University”



Mr. Denish Patel, Executive Vice President of RK University, Rajkot
announced today establishment of Shri Shamjibhai Harjibhai Talavia Memorial
Centre for Research in Human Nature and Shri Khodidasbhai Shamjibhai Patel
Centre for *Gujarati* Entrepreneurship under Faculty of Management at RK
University.



Speaking on the occasion he stressed the need for undertaking research in
interdisciplinary tradition to augment robust theory building and expressed
his hope that Shri Shamjibhai Harjibhai Talavia Memorial Centre for
Research in Human Nature would rise up to accomplish this bold task and
push the frontiers of knowledge creation.



Speaking on Shri Khodidasbhai Shamjibhai Patel Centre for Gujarati
Entrepreneurship, Mr. Denish Patel stressed the importance of deciphering
success of Gujarati entrepreneurs worldwide and disseminating this
knowledge to younger/ smaller entrepreneurs and hand holding them in their
evolution.



He reiterated his commitment to carry forward the vision of Shri
Khodidasbhai Shamjibhai Patel and ensure that RK University contributes to
the well being of the society and the nation.

“RK University announces formation of *I*ndian *F*orum for *C*reative
& *Q*ualitative
*R*esearch”





Mr. Denish Patel, Executive Vice President of RK University, Rajkot
announced today formation of *I*ndian *F*orum for *C*reative & *Q*ualitative
*R*esearch. He offered resources at his command to carry out the activities
of the forum. Mr. Denish Patel and Mr. Mohit Patel, Vice President of RK
University are the patrons of the forum along with Dr. Subhash Sharma:
Dean, Indus Business Academy, Bangalore, Dr. Raashid Saiyed, Dean, Faculty
of Management, RK University is the founder President. Prof. Anant Giri,
Madras Institute of Developmental Studies is also the founder member.

Speaking on the occasion Dr. Subhash Sharma: Dean, Indus Business Academy,
Bangalore, need for engaging in creative and qualitative research and hoped
that a young university like RK University would take the lead in filling
the gap in engaging in creative and qualitative research through its
doctoral programme.



The Indian Forum for Creative & Qualitative Research is envisaged as a
forum for researchers, faculty members, students, and organizations
interested in the practice and development of creative and qualitative
research. It would also contribute towards facilitation of doctoral
research in creative and qualitative traditions.   It would attempt to
build interdisciplinary qualitative research knowledge and skills through
facilitation of exchange of competencies, resources and insights.
