rkt/build-rkt-1.29.0+git/stamps/__stage1_usr_from_kvm_qemu_mk_conf.stamp] Error 1

People,

Using Fedora 27 x86_64 I get the dreaded "Failed to mount cgroup2 on /var/lib/rkt/pods/run" when I use the native rkt RPM so I started to build it from scratch:

I get screenfuls of warnings about too many bytes not fitting in destinations but I finally get stopped with this error:

# make

  ACTOOL       build-rkt-1.29.0+git/target/bin/stage1-coreos.aci

  CONFIG EXT   qemu

make: *** [stage1/usr_from_kvm/qemu.mk:54: /home/phil/src/rkt/build-rkt-1.29.0+git/stamps/__stage1_usr_from_kvm_qemu_mk_conf.stamp] Error 1

qemu-kvm is installed.

Suggestions?

This has probably been fixed by https://github.com/rkt/rkt/pull/3922

Can you try again building v1.30.0 or current master?

Just did a fresh "git clone" and now get this:

make: *** [stage1/usr_from_kvm/qemu.mk:71:
/home/phil/src/rkt/build-rkt-1.30.0+git/stamps/__stage1_usr_from_kvm_qemu_mk_conf.stamp]
Error 1
