Our five frame nucs are the real deal. They are a spring produced small colony with the queen that is mother to all the contained brood and young bees.

Installing the nuc into your hive is simpler than installing a package. If the nuc is placed in an all new hive, the existing built out comb, brood in production, and food stores provide weeks of advantage. They are ideal for beekeepers young or old that are beginning to learn about the stewardship of honey bees.

We try to have our nucs ready by the second week in May, when the last snow is gone and the blooming season is beginning. Some times they are ready a little earlier or a bit later. I am now accepting orders for 2020.

Attached is our two page information sheet and order form. We will acknowledge your order in the sequence it arrives our lock box with your payment in full. Our spring nuc production is limited.
