EyeTV EyeConnect causing problems with Rivet

After much searching, I've found that EyeTV's EyeConnect service,
which allows Live TV and recorded TV show streaming to Xbox, PS3,
iPad, iPhone, etc. is not allowing Rivet to work correctly; thus, I
have to choose either Rivet or EyeTV for any given time.
Is there a way EyeTV and Rivet can work together nicely?
