8th Annual Air Conditioned Eagle Encampment 2015

The 2015 Eagle Encampment is An unequalled opportunity for Scouts to achieve remarkable progress on their Trail to Eagle in less than one week. This one-of-a-kind in the BSA annual experience in West Orlando is a resident-style (stay on campus) event. Adult leaders from local units do not attend unless they are on staff. Scouts will receive exhaustive merit badge instruction from more than 40 hand-picked top-notch Central Florida merit badge counselors. They will also enjoy presentations regarding all aspects of Eagle Leadership Project planning. Air conditioned learning; dining and sleeping quarters are featured. Plenty of outdoor activities too and a thrilling field trip, plus several social events create an enriched atmosphere. Professionally prepared food by certified food handlers is provided “family style” with practically unlimited teenager size portions. The food is always ranked as “one of the best from any summer camp” during year end surveys

What they have are Six merit badges available: Citizenship in the Community, Nation & World, Communications, Family Life and Personal Management. Each participant must register for a minimum of 3 merit badges to qualify for admission.
