just in…Online Popcorn
Sales Competition
The Online Popcorn Sales have been amazing thus far. To date, the Scouts in the Central Florida Council, having sold tens of thousands of dollars through online sales, are ranked in the top 10
in the country for Online Popcorn Sales!
With this being said, we have decided to hold a special Online Popcorn Competition between the Scouts in Central Florida.
The Scout from each District who has sold the most Popcorn online from July 1st through October 31st will receive 4 passes for Florida EcoSafaris Coach Safari expedition:
AND a $25.00 gift card to a movie theatre.
In addition, the Scout who sells the most Popcorn online in the Council will receive a brand new / latest generation IPod Touch!!
Please make sure your Scouts are utilizing the online sales function of this year’s Popcorn Campaign. Many Scouts have relatives and family friends that live somewhere throughout our country…let’s
make sure those relatives and family friends get a chance to make sure our Scouts have a great Scouting Year powered by Popcorn.

On the horizon for our 2014 Popcorn campaign:
· Unit Second Order Pick up is October 11th at your District Popcorn Distribution Center – contact your District Popcorn Kernel or
District Executive to set up a time slot on pick up distribution day
· Council Blitz Weekend #2 will be on October 17-19th
*Top Selling Unit in each District will earn $50!

Yes, we have popcorn products at the Council Office for your unit to get.
This is due to “hype we are hearing” that Show n Sells are doing great!
If your unit needs more product please
contact Kimmy Orosco at the
Council Service Center at kimmy....@cflscouting.org.
In this email please include inventory needed and your unit number. Products are going fast so this is on a first come first serve basis.

Winner has
been
picked…
The Council’s
“Fill it Up Club” Winner Group continues to grow. Please congratulate Boy Scout Noah Mitchell from Troop 355 in the Challenger District. Please remember
that each Scout that fills up his take order form and enters the “Fill it Up Club Drawing”

has a chance to win either an IPod Touch or a gift card just like our two “Fill it Up Club” winners.

The second “Fill it up Club” member has been picked. We will highlight each “Fill it up Club” Winner weekly through email and social media. Each time one of your Scouts
fills up a “Take Order Form” please make sure and register at the following link.
Military Donation
Prizes from our Council
(NEW)
Scouts from all over the Council have submitted their Military Donation totals on the Council’s Popcorn website to receive the Special Council Military Donation Patches. So in September,
October and November once a Scout receives $150.00 in Military Donations
he will be able to register at the Council Popcorn website (http://popcorn.cflscouting.org)
to receive a special Silver 2014 Central Florida Council Military Shoulder Strip Patch set that he can wear on his uniform.
Once a Scout receives $250.00 in Military Donations he will able to register for the special Gold 2014 Central Florida Council Military Shoulder Strip Patch set.
This Military Donation prize system is cumulative so if a Scout sells $150.00 he can enter his information to receive the special Silver 2014 Military Shoulder Strip Patch set and then once he receives another
$100 in Military Donations he will be able to enter his information to receive the special Gold Military Shoulder Strip Patch set.
Tips
for Show n Sells !!
 
Show N Sells have been a large part of every Central Florida Council Unit’s Popcorn Sale for many years. The following are some helpful tips for Show n Sells: Choose right locations, secure site early, create sign-up sheet
for scouts in your unit and as always….wear your uniform. Please remember not to over over schedule the Scouts and make sure to keep the Scouts in engaged. Making signs always is a good selling point. And make sure Scouts practice, practice, practice. If
