to Riverside rides

Hey All

Looks like it should be dry out on the roads for our second TNR (chilly yes) I know a lot of you want to ride so I will say lets ride.

Leave the shop 5:30

18-19 average speed

I think a lot of gravel bikes again but ride what you want.

Maybe we can not hammer for those who are on gravel bikes.

Single file on North street (maybe not 25 mph this time) 21-22 is good.

Sprinting safely on our side of the road and WE CAN NOT BE 4 ABREAST  on Hale street, last week the officer was very "testy" with us even with me and I was single file in the back of the group.  We need to remember our sprint is for fun and the cars are on the road with us and we need to be respectful!

Hangout at the shop afterwards.

One thing we could do moving forward is to not speed up till Tender Crop farm because 10 of us had to "run the red light" on Raulfs lane.  ( we did get the ok from the waiting cars but I do not want to do this again) so if we go slow till Tender crop those who are caught at the light will have time to catch up to group!  So I am saying hold 14-15 till then it will not hurt our average speed that much and less stressful for those of us at the end of the line.

Thanks and see you Tomorrow

Tom
