Hey All
Looks like a great night to ride!
Leaving the shop at 5:30
Steady pace of 19
STEADY is the key, lets not let a group go off the front again please lets stay together and no matter what the person next to you does you all have computers/Garmin's and know what "tom said" 19 is what we are doing... we need to keep order with speed and that makes the group faster and more efficient.
2 abreast max. When you are pulling off the front, thanks for your pull! but there is no need to go to the center line to move the back.. fall back close to the pace line and fall back single file. then we are only 3 abreast for a short time. Fall back in line asap don't pedal at the groups pace that doesn't work to get to the back quicker...
Single file on North street 22-23 mph (we do this to get some of the crazy speed out of our legs before Turkey hill and then we can enter Turkey and have a safe sprint) If you get out front on North street you can do your pull and then if you get tired no problem, just slowly pull out to your left and let the group go by and then hope back on the end of the group.
Turkey hill sprint on our side of the invisible middle line! Staying on our side of the road and communicate if your passing let the rider ahead know your coming by or if you are tired and slowing make sure the group behind can tell your toast. Our speeds are increasing and this is when things can go wrong! Lets use our heads out there and have some safe fun.
Beer afterwards.
See you there.
