"Age is just a number; miles logged are not."

WOWZA! Our 21st and final Monday Night Group ride of the season will take place on Monday September 15th. Right now, the weather is forecast to be gorgeous, with mild temps, sun, and a light breeze. If the weather does not cooperate, I will cancel the ride between 3-4pm on Monday afternoon.

I will take this opportunity to remind everyone to be sure to have working front and rear lights for the remaining rides. The sun is setting earlier, and visibility is critical. The shop has a great selection of lights, so c'mon by prior to the ride if you'd like to purchase one.

Again, we are delighted to offer two routes to accommodate the preferences of the group. Feel free to do whichever route "floats your bike." We are returning to the original 20-mile route.

Below is the map for each of the new routes. PLEASE review prior to the ride. NOTE: Central Street resurfacing is complete and is BEAUTIFUL!

Come for the ride stay for the beer! Yep, beer following the ride.

PLACE: Riverside Cycles, Newburyport (at the Tannery), 50 Water St.
TIME: 5:20 meet-up in the parking lot, with a 5:30 departure. Text me if you are going to be a few minutes late (508-250-8803).
INFORMATION ABOUT THE BONUS GROUP RIDE AND PIZZA PARTY:
On Tuesday, September 16th, we will do our original Monday Night Ride route - 16-mile Monday Night Ride
Having the Monday and Tuesday Night Groups ride on distinct routes will allow us to spread out across the backroads and return to the shop, at roughly the same time, for pizza and beer.
Speaking of Pizza, there will be a collection bucket next to the beer cooler. Please consider contributing to the Pizza fund. We anticipate a big turn out this year and appreciate any donation you can make. As always, the beer is on the house!
Thank you for being part of this wonderful group of cyclists and friends.
Hope to see you soon!
