Friday night

I want to thank everyone involved in organizing our get together on
Friday night. Especially Irene for offering to use of her home and
providing all the great food. Phil for keeping track of everyone and
Carol for getting this all started. I really enjoyed seeing everyone
and hearing your great memories. It would be great if we could get
together again before another 10 years passes us by.
I hope everyone will post the pictures they took.

Additionally, I am looking for pictures of our Lincoln School class
from 1st and 2nd grade, if any has them. (Hall, I know that you have
1st grade.)

I am sitting here, having a cup of coffee , getting my voice back
( what was that?), and thinking that this weekend was just too damn
short!!!!!!! I was saying to Mary about an hour before everyone was
due to arrive. " Mar? In one hour there will be a house full of people
that I have not seen for 44 years, virtually strangers!" "This is
getting very surreal and scary".

The minute the door bell rang and all the familiar faces came in
smiling ...44 years disappeared. I thought the emails were fun!
seeing everyone was best!
Carol, thank you! You were the one that got this rolling, our leader,
and got it on a site...Phil you were the contact man.... Scott, The
music was "FAB", Beth the pickles...you are so funny.... those were
cold, snappy dill pickles...They were in abundance so John is serving
them up at the restaurant! ha! The edible arrangement was great and
still enjoying as breakfast....Beth D. you had so much going that week
end, and you join the RFJH group....your dip was great and your
presence was even more appreciated....I was thrilled, THRILLED, to be
a part of this get together and have no reservations in doing it again
and often! Nothing went wasted.... believe me. I have nieces and
nephews with kids so they appreciated "leftovers". ( food is our
life. Ah me. )

One regret! No camera! I didn't get my camera out!!!!! I hope
anyone and everyone tha t took pic's send them! I wish I could have
sat down and talked to everyone at length..

Saturday nite was so easy after our Friday. It was good to see a
great turn out AND I swear everyone looked to same, and great!
Again... no camera! Oh I do want to see pictures.

Well, I have to get on with some stuff today.. Monday...DONT GO
AWAY!!!!!!

Kathy you are so welcome and thank you for the gum chain sample!
that turned out to be quite to complicated project! I was so busy in
the Kitchen I didn't get to see all the pics, darn it! BUT some
people did leave some pics behind! I will be glad to mail them
back , but I did have fun looking at them ( all by myself....ha)

Kathy Collins left the 6th grade pic from Washington School.
Yikes. i have the 5th grade pic of Roosevelt School.....Carol?
Scott? ????? There is a very studly Scott in a leather jacket and
not so studly Don Neilsen in a feathered cap from 5th grade production
" A Feather in his Hat"......And Scott in front of a white
convertible...older... surfer look...1968? And one adorable pic...1st
grade? Lincoln.....everyone looking like they needed nap time... or
lunch? A senior Follies program....but not our class... older....
maybe Kathy Iverson's sister's class? And then the grad class numbered
and list of names...possibly Phil's.
