Thank you all so much for the great RFJH evening. It was indeed the
perfect way to start the weekend. It felt so comfortable when I saw
you all again on Saturday. Actually, it felt comfortable to be with
you all immediately when I entered Irene's house. I confess I was a
little reluctant to leave the safety of my sister's car but I was
astounded and delighted at how familiar everyone's face was (once I
had read the nametag!). The shared roots of River Forest really do
run deep and I feel truly blessed to be a part of this group. Thank
you to all of you who made it possible. I hope we don't have to wait
another 10 years. You are all special to me.
