Dear All,
I am so sad to say that I won't be able to join you for our get-
together.
As I wrote before in my bio, I am the Senior Art Critic for New York
Magazine. Wouldn't you know it, becasue of that I suppose, the Bravo
Network asked me to "star" as a "Judge" on their new reality show
about ... art! Hah!
How could I say "No?"
So, I said "Yes."
The show is being shot now, all this and next month; and meanwhile I
have to write my weekly reviews for New York Magazine. So, its
everything I can do to even keep my head aboive water for the next two
months. Although I must say that the first two episodes have been shot
and while I imagine I will come off as a complete dork on TV I am
having a real blast.
So, I won't see any of you; maybe I will never see any of you in the
flesh again. It has been so wonderful and moving to be back in contact
with you. All of you are very close to my heart even after all this
time; even if you are closer now than we were then.
I will be thinking of all of you; post a lot of pictures.

How exciting! But very disappointing for us. you will have to let
us all know when the show is! Well, you never know when we will run
into each other.... but it was so great to "collide" and catch up.
next reunion?

Oh good grief... are you saying you'd rather be a judge on tv than fly
to Chicago to see a bunch of classmates from junior high? Come on
Jerry! no... just kidding
We will miss you, but if son Morgan does a good job filming and son
Zak does a good job editing, we will make you feel like you didn't
miss a thing.
