Active Transportation Bridge (beside Disraeli) Opening

I have written to 311 asking about an official opening for the new active transportation bridge beside the Disraeli.

When I asked the workers last week - they said it would be open this week.

But 311 does not know anything about an opening and will not forward my request to someone who might know.

I would love to be there when it first opens.

If you have any information, please share with us. Thanks.

When i followed up in the spring I was advised it was slated to open around the end of August. Kevin Nixon is on A/L so I have no recent updates on the project.
