Hi,

I want to add an about.html page to my river5 site.

Wherever I put it in the FS and try to open it in the browser I get the error "...is not one of the endpoints defined by this server".

Is there a folder I should put it in or should I add something to config.json?

Thanks!

Hanan

It's really hard to know what you tried to do, if you want help you have to be a lot more specific.

That said, based on a general impression, you're asking River5 to do something that it doesn't do.

Hanan,

Here's how I accomplished this in for River 5:

- My main install of River5 shows at http://river5.dukeriver.co

- Dave previously provided me/us a way to create a standalone river: https://groups.google.com/d/msg/river4/8kc7QIiroPg/r324ZbsTLgAJ

- I used that for http://dukeriver.co. It is displaying a river that is generated from the main River5 install.

- Notice the link for Learn More that opens a modal with About information.

Hope this helps.

Interesting. I had forgotten about that.

That provides a simple way for me to help you get the new browser to work with your River5 installation (and of course in the future, River6).

This project has been going on for years. I forget all the stuff I did. ;-)
