Here's the next in my series of river-of-news aggregators. As with River4, this software is written in JavaScript and runs in Node.js.

What does this mean to you?

If you're happy running River4, nothing -- you can keep using it.If you want to try out River5, it works with the same list files you use for River4. There are special instructions on that page for River4 users. 

Also, there's a new River5 mail list, which you should join if you have any questions about the new software. This list will remain in place for River4 users.
