I have created a new River4 site (http://fullblastnews.com/) building on the riverBrowser toolkit and recent work by Dave Winer and Anton Zuiker on dukeriver.co. The site also links to a resource page with support information for River4.

Nice job on the site, Andy!  I was also looking at a similar type of deployment strategy, so very helpful to see your work, as well as Anton's. 

Thank you for such nice work extending the documentation as well.

I'm working on my river this week and will share any learnings or tweaks on the list.

Looks great Andy.

One possible improvement might be that when one clicks to choose a river that the page moves the river div up to the top of the screen. On my laptop, the river div was below visible browser height. I clicked on a newspaper and it seemed nothing happened. It only took me a second or two to realize the content was below and to scroll down, but it might improve experience if it did that. Other than that things were looking pretty slick.

Adam - Glad you like the site and the screencasts!

Matthew - I have noticed that problem when my browser window is not full size, I will do some experiments to try to correct the issue.
