I set up a second river (on fashion this time) and tried the process again:
Here is the river:
http://ec2-204-236-194-210.compute-1.amazonaws.com/rivers/Joanna/index.html
What I did:
- I set up a second user "Joanna" via opml.
- Then signed in via /opmlEditor/signin
- I got an 403 error message (see attachment)
- however after hitting the back button to the opml-editor I saw that I was signed in as the new user
- went to river2 via the menu in the upper right hand corner,
- set up the river: deleted all old feeds, added new ones.
What happened:
- None of the default feeds are visible
- the new ones show up
- links open in the same window
- for some feeds many old items were included (check the "Runway Feed" for a good example, items dating back to March are in the river set up yesterday)
What I expected:
First I expected all the items to show up that are visible when you go to a signup-page like this one:
http://www.theartnewspaper.com/rss/rss.xml
Then I realised only new ones would show up.
Then I got confused, because in the fashion feed both new and old ones are mixed.
Generally, I expected links to open in a new tab or window, would like to be able to set that up. Looked for this in prefs, but couldnt find the option
Hope this is helpful
Daniel
