Good evening members!
I didn't realize RCARCS had a forum page, so requested we start one, so here it is.
I'll start off by asking the membership if anyone has any experience with running coax underground in conduit. Are there any precautions I should be aware of other than the most important one, moisture? I have a 90 degree bend in the pipe at either end in an effort to keep water out, but this coax has been in the pipe for about 6 or 7 years. Is it time to replace it? Assuming the SWR is still 1.5:1 or better, how long should this last?
Any help would be appreciated!
