The Wisconsin Association of Community Theatre hosts WACT Con 2010 January 8th-9th at the River Arts Center;  http://wact.org/wactfest2010.htm

Friday

Friday evening there will be a welcome reception at the Clarion Hotel and Conference Center in Baraboo.  It will be an opportunity to catch up with old friends and meet new ones.  Registration packets will also be available for pickup.

Saturday

Saturday will be a full day of activities. In the morning, registration will begin again at 9:00 AM at the River Arts Center in Prairie du Sac. After short opening remarks we’ll begin the learning with the first of the days workshop sessions. Lunch will be provided at the River Arts Center giving everyone a chance to compare notes and attend WACT’s Annual Meeting. After lunch, workshops will continue throughout the afternoon. The dinner break will give you a chance to check out the local restaurant scene and take a nap (remember - it’s already been an exciting day) or stay right at the River Arts Center as the Sauk Prairie Theatre Guild will have brats available.

Saturday Evening

Since 1994 Inside the Actors' Studio has been seen by millions and millions of people. Join us on the stage of the River Arts Center as WACT's own Allen Ebert plays the part of James Lipton and actor/playwright/author James DeVita take a turn in the guest seat. Join us for Inside the WACTors' Studio. There will be an opportunity for audience members to ask Jim questions. He will also join us for a desert reception after the program.
