As the school year winds down, we shift gears into our summer activities.  

Summer school starts June 18th.  They will be putting on a free performance for the public at the RAC on July 12th at 6 PM.  Great for all ages!  http://www.saukpr.k12.wi.us/commcenter/CCSS2012.cfm

Kris Pickar School of Dance is offer a summer session with a recital at the RAC on July 19th at 7 PM.  http://www.kpschoolofdance.com

Some exciting news for our area children.  Children's Theater of Madison is holding their Summer Drama School at the River Arts Center this sumer.  Young performers ages 10-16 train under theater professionals in voice, acting and movement.  Class meets Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm for two weeks and from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm the final week.  Performances are held on the final Thursday and Friday evening.  Tuition is $500.  School runs July 22-August 9.  Performances of Willy Wonka, Jr are on August 8th and 9th and are open to the public.  For more information and registration please visit their website;  http://www.ctmtheater.org/Classes/SummerDramaSchool.aspx

Our next exhibit is 60 Days at Taliesin.  It will open on August 23rd.  With a reception on September 5th at 7 PM.
