Pavers are Moving

The pavers in front of the River Arts Center are to be removed in the coming week. They have been a safety factor since the building opened. River Arts, Inc. had them sandblasted several years ago to make them safer, but we still have a lot of people trip and fall. The school board decided to have them removed. River Arts, Inc. is handling the redistribution of them. A safer alternative of honoring those who purchased pavers is still be discussed. The Sauk Prairie High School proudly presents The Pirates of Penzance, Nov 12-14 at 7:30 PM and Nov 15 at 2:00 PM. Tickets are $10 reserved and are available form cast, crew, or orchestra members.
The Sauk City Library present The Little Match Girl, Nov 21 at 1:00 PM. This performance by Playtime Productions is free and open to the public.
The Sauk Prairie Theatre Guild presents Once Upon A Santa Claus, Dec 4-5 at 7:30 PM and Dec 6 at 2:00 PM. Based on The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus by L. Frank Baum. On a youthful trip into the world, Nicholas dedicates his life to helping children, often victims of poverty and sickness. Now Santa is dying. A unanimous vote of the immortals is needed to bestow the Golden Mantle of Immortality on a human; however, Prince Grim feels no human is worthy. Opposition is overcome on Christmas Eve and Santa sets forth with rejoicing by all. Tickets are $10 Adult and $5 Student. http://www.riverartscenter.org/events
