Oak Street is now open! The south parking lot is almost finished. Right now it looks like we have added a couple of reflecting pools. :)
School starts on September first. We get started a couple of weeks earlier with teacher inservices and welcoming new teachers. A big thank you to Todd Pape and the high school custodial staff for all of their hard work getting the RAC ready for another year. It looks great here!
Joseph was a huge success. Thank you to everyone who attended. Talks are already in the works for another musical next summer. Auditions for the Sauk Prairie Theatre Guild's next production, Once Upon A Santa Claus, are Oct 8-10. http://sptheatreguild.org/
Our next event is Music Theatre of Madison's Floyd Collins. Sep 12 & 19 at 7:30 PM and Sep 13 & 20 at 2:00 PM. Floyd Collins is a gorgeous piece written by Tony Award winning composer Adam Guettel (grandson of the great Richard Rodgers) and Steppenwolf Theatre company member Tina Landau. Floyd Collins features a delightfully unique bluegrass score, a cast of thrilling characters, and the story of an all but forgotten historical event that swept headlines in its day. General Admission; Adult $17, Student $10, Seniors (60+) $14 http://www.riverartscenter.org/events

We are on Twitter! http://twitter.com/RiverArtsCenter This is a great way to get short updates on what is going on the River Arts Center. I will post info about ticket sales, upcoming events, artists, and parking and traffic info. I gave away two sets of tickets during Joseph using Twitter!
Thanks for supporting the arts in Sauk Prairie,
